Harry Gould Harvey IV, Naturally, love's the most distant possibility (after Bataille), 2019 Colored pencil, charcoal, aluminum, Art in America mailer, Oui mailer, MDF, foraged black walnut from the Newport Mansions, formica from the walls of the bathroom of Cocaine Sam's seaside hideaway, 17 × 8 ⅜ × 5 ¼ in.

Something like a bone or bar of soap stands erect in the center of the image, pierced with two large rings near the base of the object. The object is on fire and glowing blue-orange-red.
